The Sun is the Brahman. Prior to creation, there was untruth everywhere. After creation, truth prevailed. The universe was created and it was in the form of an egg. For an entire year, the universe stayed in the form of an egg. Thereafter, it split into two parts. One half was golden and the other half was silvery.
The silvery part became the earth. The golden part became heaven. The womb became the mountains and the veins (of the embryo) became the rivers.
He who worships the sun as the Brahman, attains a state of bliss.
