The word oum is know as pranava. Oum symbolises all hymns, the sun utters oum as it traverse the sky. Many years ago, the sage koushitaki worshiped oum and obtained a son. He advised his son to worship oum so that he might have many sons. The breath of life utters oum as it course through the body. he who realises the wonderful nature of oum, obtains all the objects of his desire.
